“Bored to Death” Apartment

I just watched the first episode of HBO’s new sitcom Bored To Death, starring with adorable Jason Schwartzman. He plays a writer/private detective. And his NYC apartment is so beautiful. (Anyone know what area of NY he lives in? Maybe Queens. I’m not sure.) Anyway, it’s gorgeous. I took a couple screencaps to show you.

Cellphone Photography: Masstown Market

So, I miss my camera so much. It feels weird, knowing that my camera is off in some far off land (Well, Toronto, anyway). I only have my cell phone now. Sheesh. But today, I was roaming around Masstown Market (outside of Truro, Nova Scotia) and I found a few items I really liked and snapped some photos. They have some really cool stuff there. Might have to pick up a few items when I go to decorate the apartment next summer.

5 Museums: New York City

When I went to New York City in December, I was only there for a few days so I didn’t get an opportunity to check out all the museums I wanted. (One day…) But in this new multi-part series, here on My Kingdom, I’m going to discuss five museums in various cities. I’ll include all the museums I’ve visited (it’s a short list) and all the museums I would like to visit.

Here is the first edition of 5 Museums.

I would totally love to see this, The Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Anyone who enjoys watching fashion shows on TV or flipping through glossy-page fashion magazines knows that fashion is just another art form, just like painting or sculpture. You can even take a sneak peak at their galleries online.
